I didnt go with the tunable one. The tunable the only way your gonna know if your tunning it right is if you dyno it every time you tune it. If you dont you may run to rich or lean and cause a loose of power or a check engine light.

i'd say skip the tunable....there is NO CHANCE that you can make a tune better than theirs.

if you have friends with a dyno or something, and do some extensive supporting mods, then maybe. but their system is a bit slow, so most dyno shops might give you sh*t about working with it.

i'm far from "all knowing" with this car. you might wanna see if others have made progress with the tunable version before commiting to anything. lot more info about it on 6club too

Why not just go with the unichip which is far more tuneable, and is a piggyback unit. That you don't have to hard wire into your ECU?

far more tunable? you can't do anything to the unichip once you buy it? PLUS you have to buy the intake as well. Unichip is a completely different way of thinking about things

I say it is more tuneable in the long tun if you are planning on doing alot of mods to your car, granted it has to be taken to a tuner, but it has a wider range of tuning variables available

It depends on you, I didnt. I have had mine for almost a year now and I drive it in all kinds of weather and my car is lowered and I havent had any problems. I really didnt want to cut the intake pipe to do it. Just if you do suck up some water and it does damage to your motor, make sure you put the stock one back in before you take it to the dealership.
