Hi.
Newbie Mazda 6 owner (2007). Noticed after I bought it that the cig lighter does not work. Changed the fuse but no joy. Took it to garage and after changing the fuse again, ( I told them not to bother but hey), they said there is no power getting to the socket.
Does anyone know if this is a common issues with Mazda 6?
Need the socket for Sat Nav. Other than that, I'm pleased with it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

 

I know the cigarette lighter does not work without the key on. If it doesn't work at all, it's time to run a new wire. You could also buy a external female cigarette lighter with a wire attached, hook it up. To see one: http://www.amazon.com/Parts-Express-.../dp/B0006TIRZA
