well its hard to explain...but once you remove the headlight cover, theres a metal clip and you have to push down and inwards sort of. It's like a lever and once you get it off you jsut pull the bulb out and swap it. BTW what type of PIAA's did you get, im itnerested in a pair of them.

i got the PIAA Xtreme White Plus
its a white-ish blue light. looks sick as hell my friend has it on his Accord coupe

http://piaa.com/Bulbs/Bulbs-H1.html < H1's (low beam)
http://piaa.com/Bulbs/Bulbs-H11.html <H11's (fog lights)

got the H1 pair for $70
H11's were $95

i wud still like a more detailed guide to changing the bulbs.
thanks :D

You can actually change it yourself, but.... you have to remove the front bumper cover to do it. Its not that hard, like 8 bolts then pull off the cover. There are 4 bolts to take the headlight out, 2 you can see from the top , 1 that bolts to the fender, and one that bolts straight in, if you are standing in front of the car the pass side will be lower right of the light and the drivers side is in the lower left. I believe there is a how to on mazda6tech.com

WTF, why do they make it so difficult to change a headlight bulb? That's gay. I used to change my own headlights on ALL of my cars. Even my Mercedes! Which they tell you to take Benz's to the dealership for everything because Benz hates it when non-certified Mercedes mechanics and/or owners go into the engine bay.

yea,
i found out the hard way that its a pain in the ass to change the bulbs.....the ONLY ones that are easy to change are the turn signals! i wanna get sum new, brighter, headlight and foglight bulbs but i want the parking lights that are next to them to match! do they make little bulbs that are brighter too? otherwise i'm gona have nice, brite headlights & foglights but regular, dimmer parking lights & that would not be kosher....
