So, I was reading an older post about someone wanting to clearcoat their center console so it matched the radio. Did it work? You got pictures?

I was thinking about taking it off htis weekend to attach a radio plug, and was thinking about messing around with this.

My plan is to repaint the dollar silver with metallic silver, do the black with some sort of shiny black paint, and then clear coat everything.

I was also thinking about either replacing or repainting the air vents with metal.

Any ideas?
