Default Is this car worth it?

https://www.truecar.com/used-cars-fo...-mazda-mazda6/
Hi all! I'm looking to buy a mazda6 in the upcoming days and this seems to be of good value. it has the tech package. The only reason why it's a bit lower is because it suffered from 3 accidents and it doesn't seem to be major but im not sure. I've never bought a damaged car before. In the link, there is a free carfax report for the history. I'm not too familiar when it comes to buying cars which is why im here. thankful for any advice!

Why is it every time I see someone asking if "this car is worth it", the link is always to truecar dot com? I guess this is my way of saying the above post is SPAM!

It could be a good deal. The price is a little low, however, there seems to be a few others in that price range in your area. With 3 accidents, I would have an independent mechanic inspect it before writing the check. I would also be ready for some additional unexpected surprises.

I would probably not buy it personally. I need a dependable vehicle and three accidents would have me too concerned about the long term reliability.

what about this one? my budget dropped and i actually dont mind the 2014-2015s interior difference. should the 120 miles on this 2014 be concerning or would it be okay? many have said these skyactiv engines are solid and if ran that many miles, most are prob from highway which meant it wasn't driven hard. also, sorry for the late reply and thank you for your insightful feedback. i appreciate it. i am not a spam, but a newbie

You raise an excellent question that I am not the best person to answer. How reliable are the current generation of Mazdas with skyactiv technology in their second hundred thousand miles? What should we look for going into the second hundred thousand miles to increase the probability of making it through with few issues?

My general rule would be to buy the best maintained, lowest miles, newest vehicle possible, however, this does not answer the question. I would also check the BBB and private reviews for the seller and inspect the vehicle thoroughly. An independent evaluation by a mechanic is also a great investment.

Since my second vehicle, with only one exception, I have purchased new cars and sold them around 100,000 miles. Therefore, I cannot speak to the reliability after that point. I am in the process of transferring my Mazda 3 with 96,000 miles to my son and buying my next 3 so I have the same questions you have.

I hope we can get some feedback to the two questions.
