i have an 03 M6S, and i want to take out the resonator and stock muffler and run cat to two borla xr-1 bullet mufflers. just wondering if i could do that? or if you have any other suggestions on an exhaust muffler that i can put on and run straight pipes to the cat, that would be great, i want it to sound more on the deep side rather than a raspy high pitch noise, thanks

 

I have an '09 six and i'd also like to make my exhaust sound better and deeper. so please help! I know nothing about cars

 

That set up would work just fine, but honestly you'll end up spending the same amount for that as you would just buying the Magnaflow catback exhaust system. And the magnaflow will probably end up sounding better too.
