Airbox questions - Mazda6 Sedan 2006 2.0D 89kW
 

I bought a used Mazda 6, and have had some troubles with it these past 2 years. But recently I noticed something on the airbox that I have no idea what is.

There are these two tubes, both of which are disconnected/broken

Apologies for the crappy quality - the lens has some debris on it, as I've smashed the protective cover for the camera on my phone.
