Default Acceleration issues

Question for any mechanics out there. 2016 Mazda6 when I start to accelerate around 40mph it get a little rough like it isnt getting enough gas. Then over 60 mph if I hit the gas hard the check engine light comes on and I cant accelerate anymore but I can maintain speed. When I stop completely the check engine light goes off and then everything is back to normal. Any ideas?

Miles on Mazda really helps to know as well you need to go and check pending and permanent DTC as well the monitors then post what you find. And you will find them!

Wow! Nice!

So re-read what I suggested to get and post what you will find.

I recommend and suggest trying not to replace parts suggested to fix the problem unless you first test to verify the suspected part is failing or failed. Doing so can many times complicate the search for the original problem and often add new problems to resolve.
