I want the rx8 but my wife refuses due to rear wheel drive... is the 6 the same?

I am being offered a 2005 sport sedan, sticker at 27,780 (leather, moonroof etc) for 22,750 is this good?

the mazda 6 is front wheel drive...if you can get 5 grand off of the sticker price, i woudl say that it is a good deal.

Well maybe you should just buy the RX8 and refuse to let her drive it. What is wrong with rear wheel drive that is a pretty bad excuse for not buying the car you want. If she didn't agree with a rotary i would understand.

^^^ I would agree with you but if he wants to keep getting laid and not end up sleeping on the couch. He better go with the Mazda6. I think that is a great deal btw. Lots of mods out there for this car now.

Well I did have an rx8 on order in the uk at $48,000... we live in Mass now, so everyone here is telling us not to buy rear wheel drive due to snow... girls.

As above, I am whipped, but for an easy life the 6 isnt a bad car... we dont even get a v6 in the uk, so I was pretty pleased on the test drive.

The car is Lapis blue, leather pack, moonroof/bose pack, and 6-speed auto and I pick it up tomorrow...

That seems like a decent deal, my '04 6S 5Door msrp was $28,500, paid $22,900 at Quirk in Quincy, MA last Nov. If you'll be driving a lot on Mass. winters (I live there) the 6 is a better choice. Not bad in the snow even w/the 17" low profiles. And, you keep the 'lil lady happy- nothing worse than a cold New England winter with no nooky!

there are 3 things you dont mess with:

A Mans Car
A Mans TV Remote
A Mans Beer

Just tell her your buying the rx8 and if she gets lippy...then tell her once you get the rx8 you will trade "her" in for a newer model!lol
