Hello all, I wanted to share the maintenance mode sequence for disengaging the electronic parking brake (epb) on the rear brake calipers.
1) press the start button twice while not starting the vehicle. (Don’t have your foot on the brake or clutch pedal at this time)

2) disengage epb by pressing down on the button

3) press the accelerator to the floor and press and hold the epb at the same time

4) press the ignition button once to turn off and again to turn on( within 4 seconds of each other). This should put the epb in service mode. You will here a longer than usual winding sound coming from the parking brake and a caution simple on the dash.

5) to rengage the parking brake setting reverse the above steps and instead of pressing the epb button down, press up to engage. Again you will here a longer than usual winding that the brake piston goes through to reset.

Hope this helps cuz I had to trouble shoot for hours to figure this out. Now to change those pads
