2014 6 with numerous issues
Good afternoon All,
I just joined the forum looking for some solutions to some weird issues that have popped up. I purchased a 2014 with 16000 miles back in Sept. 2018. The car has been a dream to drive with no issues until now. Here is what I am experiencing: 1. The BSM Off light is a constant flash on the cluster. 2. The Air Bag Light blinks once then followed by 8 more flashes. 3. The Fob light on the cluster is red. 4. On Saturday 6/8, I filled the tank up to 14.8 gallons and after driving for about 30 miles the check engine light appeared with a PO463 code on the Fuel Level Sensor High Circuit. I cleared the code with my OBII and currently have driven 94 miles total since the fill up. 5. My gas gauge shows a full tank and then shows a half a tank after all the above lights illuminate. I am heading to Advanced to get the battery checked but I wanted to see what the forum had first. Many Thanks., Kevin "FNG" |
1) Will require a diagnostic scan
2) Will require a diagnostic scan 3) Remote battery may need replacing. Anything below 3.00v is bad 4) Will require a diagnostic scan 5) Think there was a software issue with the FBCM |

Since my last post, I purchased the BlueDriver OBD II reader. For a couple of days, I did not see the Airbag light, BSM off Flashing light and the Check engine light. I was able to pull the following codes from the Bluedriver: PO463 (possible Fuel Gauge Sensor replacement), B00D5 (PAD seat belt sensor) and U0447 (related to the Fuel Sensor). I haven't had an opp to get to Carmax as they will most likely send it to a Mazda Stealership. I do have to go to the stealership for a Parking brake recall on my 2014 Six and I did notice within the recalls that 3 others were found for Electrical, Fuel System and Tires.
