2009 Mazda 6i Grand Touring
Hello! Just got my brand new Mazda 6i Grand Touring Fully Loaded! Wanted to know if there was any way to hack the DVD nav to actually make it play DVD's and to disabled the lockdown feature for using the GPS when in motion.
Anyone know why the side mirrors don't fold back? |

Got any pics yet? Please post them in the New Memeber Area now, or when you have some to share. |

Regarding the mirrors. I own a 2007 Mazda6. My mirrors are not built to fold back. I suspect yours are the same. As for why? I doubt that anyone knows. They just don't It's that simple.

Since it's not mandatory, Mazda just wants to save a few dollars per mirror. AND charge you a few hundred dollars when your mirror breaksif it hits something because it does not fold.

Interesting that the mirrors on the Mazda 3 do fold back.
The locked nav exists, in case you have not figured it out, for safety reasons. Though I do think the system should somehow be intelligent enough to tell if you have an adultpassenger in the car whois available to type in the address (maybe if someone weighing more than 100 pounds is in the passenger seat?). |
