My much loved 2006 Mazda 6 with the 4 engine has 210,000 trouble free miles but now won't start. Last month, I went out to start it and it was dead. After a quick jump start, it ran fine, and I added distilled water to the battery. I took the car into the shop I got the battery from last year and their test showed it to be fine. Ok, but now it won't turn over even when jumped from wife's car. I had her run her car at 2,000 rpm for 3-4 minutes to help boost the charge..but nothing.
I get no clicking noise when I try to start, so it leads me to believe a possible starter problem and/or bad battery. Love to hear some thoughts on this issue.
