Question 2003 mazda 6 02 simulator?

Im trying to sell my car and the cats are gutted so it throws the 02 code on and off. the post converter sensor is the one throwing the code and its already double spaced. I want to get this eliminated without buying new cats before i sell the car so I'm looking into simulators. My buddy has a subi sit and he said he just caped his and he doesn't get a code. Whats the best way for the 6 to get this resolved and whats it going to run me in price if i do it myself?

Title II | Clean Air Act | US EPA

I was talking about the simulator or cap but the car was sold to me this way. Is it saying its illegal to sell a car even private party with this done to the o2 sensors?

I remember you told me that in one of my older posts when my resonator went bad on me and we found out they were gutted. I looked into it and I only found that it was illegal for dealerships to sell a vehical without cats. I plan on telli g the buyer that theyre gutted I just want to get the light fixed. Is a simulator the better way to go or just cap it.

You can't sell it with gutted cats, otherwise you may be in deep doodoo.
Suggest you either deal with getting working cats or if not, drive it til it gives up, then straight to junkyard.
Not experienced in bypassing this so I can't really give you good advice on O2 simulator. Take care.
