09 Mazda 6 homelink install
 

Has anybody done the Homelink mirror install on an 09 yet. Is there any difficulty for the DIY 'r?

I recently did the Homelink programming on my 2009 Mazda 6 and Miata. I called the number in the owner's manual and was walked through the procedure in minutes. It's a nice feature.

Well, I had the dealer do the install. See my post about the keyless start inop. Turned into a real horror story. Mazda investigating trying to figure out what went wrong. They had to send in one of their engineering people to get it running again.

Was going to do the Sirius upgrade now, but rethinking if I want to mess with ANYTHING as far as upgrades on this car now.

I still like the car by the way.

I searched for some DIYs online for the homelink mirrors and there are some sites that has some friendly DIY guides that are quite helpful...
