Hi,
I'm new to Mazdas having previously owned Zafiras and know little about cars.
Just bought a Mazda5 2011 ts2 and was really happy with it. After about 4 days the istop failed to restart at a junction and has been flashing amber constantly since. Took it to a large national chain for a battery check and he tells me he's never seen a car with two batteries and it doesn't look standard. He pointed out the main battery poles are smaller than the connecting terminal and it has adapter kit.
He couldn't test the battery and isn't sure what to do with it.
Can anyone please help and advise.

 

Is it UK new or a used Japanese import?


I've seen the twin battery setup on a Japanese used import before.
