Tire Recommendations???
 

Hello,

I own a 2006 Mazda 5 and have found the OEM tires on this car are not great in the rain. The TOYO's just do not give enough grip in the rain and I find I hydroplane quite often even at slow speeds on turns.
Any suggestions on which performance tires to use strictly for summer use?

the Mazda5 sport is fitted with 205/50/17
with that size. i STRONGLY recommend the Potenza RE050A's (stock on the Speed3)

and ur in luck. on tirerack.com their having a closeout sale on that tire for ur size. $92/tire (vs $151 before)

I have Yokohama YK 520s. Good hard compound, too!

The tires are 225/45-17s. They were pretty good in the snow and ice in Denver this past winter.
