Is there any where to store the boot cover when all seats are up

Sometimes I pick up additional children in the car and forget and then have no where to put the boot cover, Is there anywhere in the car to store the boot cover when all seats are being used?
Ive looked through the handbook but it doesnt say anything

thanks

I have been in the same situation. The simple answer is No.

Have had kids with the boot cover resting across their laps though! It's either that or they walk!!

Dave.

You think they wouldve thought of a storage place for it.

I've just bought a 2008 MY 5 - it can be stored in the underfloor compartment in it? is this new?

Yes tell us more.

I usually store it on the floor between the front and middle row of seats

I know there is a compartment in the boot, there is a part of it that lifts up to revel a storage bit, is that where you mean? I dont think its big enough on the old mazda as I cant even fit a golf umberela in it. Dont think I have any other storage areas.

Perhaps its just the british lingo, but what on earth is a "boot cover"?? I dont think that terminology is used here in Canada - either that, or it is simply something that just doesnt apply to us here in this part of the world...

"boot cover" = "trunk cover".

Covers up what you have in the rear of the car when the 2 rear seats are folded.

Open one of the covers that's located on each side in the very back of the trunk and place one end of the trunk cover inside the compartment. Then the cover fits diagonally behind the two rear seats (hope this was understandable).
Not the ideal solution, but at least you get the cover out of the way.

I haven't checked this out, but I am sure we were told when we bought the car, the shelf can be put under the floor in that compartment when not in use.

Ahhh, a boot cover is the same as a trunk cover (which I would call a "hatch cover") I suppose I could have made an educated guess on that one...

... here we call it a hatch - for us the "trunk" is on sedans etc, where it is totally separate and not open to the main part of the vehicle.
