Hello. My remote starter used to work last winter, but not anymore. Now I click the remote starter twice, the horn honks + lights flash and stay on (all normal) and then the horn honks once to say car is started, except it hasn't even tried to start. Even pressing the brake doesn't turn the car off. Any thoughts?

 

Don't know, the remote start thing is all new to me but hopefully you might get a reply on this thread. I'm sure there must be an issue with communication between the system and the starter..a fuse maybe????...

 

Ravenousjoy...what year is the car and the model. Also does your come with factory installed remote start. Are you aware of the Valet mode...this prevents remote starting.
