Yea, I dont know... I really dont like the look of the older 5's. Looks really plain and bland to me. I like the new style, plus, its a 12. Alot better resale.

beauty is in the eye of the beholder eh? and as I said it is strictly my opinion... I think it's the silly waves down the side that turn me off, but it is a nice color though. How do you like the 2.5 liter engine? One thing about the first and second gens is that if you fill the seats in the summer with the a/c on it's a gutless pig.

So far the engine has been more than enough. Im actually getting 22-25 city driving. I knew what to expect when I bought it as far as the power goes. I was hopeing that the nav system would be available by now for mine. The only draw back for me other than the poor armrests, is the sound quality of the radio.

Well, I need to renig on those numbers. We're now getting 18-22 city. My wifes been driving with the AC on alot more now. So gas mpg went down.
I think after getting used to the car, we're not so "easy" on it. A little more harder driving.

2013 Meteor Gray Sport
Here's my new Mazda 5 to join my wife's 2009 White Grand Touring model. The Meteor Gray color has a strong metallic look to it. I wanted the light interior because of the summer heat here in NC. I like many of the changes since 2009. The iPod integration, the canister style oil filter, the wheels that I can actually clean and the black caps for the wheels. Not quite sure why they moved the antenna to the side but I'm glad they got rid of the whip antenna that came on the 2009. (I changed it immediately) Also for some reason the rear wiper blade now sits on the other side. I think I need to add fog lights.
