Oil leak from rear of engine?

Hi! I have noticed my 06 5 has a slow
oil oil
leak at the rear of the engine. From what I can tell, it’s coming from the rear of the , around the middle (where the engine and bell housing mate). I’ve done a bit of research and I can definitely rule out the timing cover and the oil cooler. Are there any sensors or gaskets in the rear that could fail? If it was a different time of year, I’d lift it up and check. I just would love a bit of advance knowledge before I suffer oily frostbite!

You appear to have two leaks, one from the gearbox casing, & another from between the gearbox & engine.

I would degrease/clean down the gearbox & engine, drive it for a week & recheck for fresh oil.
