Hi there everyone I'm looking for a bit of help I've got a Mazda 5 2006 with a 2.0l diesel engine start when cold starts fine idols nice when it gets hot theres strange tapping sound comes from it when you rev it it gets louder I'm not 100% sure if it's coming from the top end or the bottom end of the engine turn it off and try to start it again when it's got and it struggles to start any ideas please thankthabks andrew

 

You may need to get the valve clearance adjusted.

 

Ok is this common in these engines any idea how to adjust them and what they should be
