Mazda 5 2.0td furano smoking

Hello everyone,

I have a 07/08 2.0d furano that has a weird smoking issue.

History 50k, the wife came back said its smoking I drove it and yes a smoke cloud big enough to hide Jimmy was pouring out thw back, when i checked the oil it was REALLY waxed up, I sent it for an oil service hoping that would clear the issue, the mechanic even commented it was the worse he has seen.
After the service from cold there is no smoke issue, but if I drive it, turn it off for 10 mins and jump back in as it comes back up to temp is spews grey smoke out the back for about a mile, Mazda have checked it and offered to strip the engine £££+? But nothing showed on the diagnosticsdiagnostics and they didn't want to give any info/hazard a guess as to what is causing it, it seems to be using engine oil as I have had to top up twice in the last 2 weeks, I blanked the EGR valve just to eliminate that from the equation, but I still have the same issue.

My only conclusion is maybe because the engine oil was so waxed up it might have blocked a breather so to flush the engine oil through and change it.

Any advice or sensible suggestions will be thankfully received.

Jake.
