Mazda 5, 1.8. Rear tyres/suspension
Hello All
I have recently purchased a 2008 1.8 Mazda 5. Since getting the vehicle I have learnt of the rear tyre issues. That aside this car ticks all my boxes, space, comfort and performance is ample for my needs. The inner edge of rear tyres show heavy wear and rear shock absorbers really do need changing, I would appreciate your thoughts and recommendations on best replacement shocks and solution to inner tyre wear, are adjustable camber arms the way forward. As I said I like this car and would rather get it sorted properly. Many thanks Len |
What makes you think the rear shocks need changing? Inner edge tire wear is pretty common on the Gen 1 Mazda3, and happens regardless of whether the shocks are new or old.

Ahhh, my mistake. That said, the Mazda3 and Mazda5 are pretty much the same from a chassis perspective. Lots of folks have used the adjustable rear arms on Mazda3s and I'm assuming (but don't know for a fact) they're interchangeable.
