Default looking for suggestions for low cost wheels and tires for Mazda 5

Hi,

I acquired a used 2009 Mazda 5 and it came with 4 (16"x6.5') steel rims and cheap hubcaps. I knew the tires needed to be replaced. I was hoping to pick a used set of OEM with decent tires but those are impossible to come by around Atlanta. The salvage yards $300+ for beat up sets.

I can:
1. Slap some new rubbers on what I have and live with it
2. Get some OEM 17" alloyed and put tires on those
3. I think the 16" Alloys (Mazda 3) will work too, try to hack this

What's my best bet?
Thanks

I got a used set of Mazda 6 wheels ($40) and ordered 4 tires from Walmart ($204) shipped home. Local shop will install and balance for $60.
