From:

If you "lightly" left foot brake (tapping on & off) you can feel a similar thing through the accelerator pedal.

The test mentioned above seems a logical reason as it happens usually when moving off.

Please could you add this link again, im having the same fault and would love to get to the bottom of it especially as my car is in warranty and i would love to stick it to mazda
