DSC casuing more spin

2010 Mazda 5.

DSC is supposed to help traction, no?

I've noticed with DSC on, the car is having a tough time on snowy surface ( with winter tires ). I doesn't have much control as it just lose grip.

For normal to wet driving, front wheels always spin upon taking off or turning while applying gas, even not hard on the pedal.

The above are not happening when I turn DSC off. Wondering if the factory accidentally switched the circuit or something which makes thing the opposite.

Anyone with similar DSC experience? thanks.

I can't see how the switch could be reversed without it setting a permanent DSC/ABS code. Very odd problem no doubt. Maybe take it into a dealer when conditions are right for them to wreck...err duplicate the problem.
