Display vehicle speed at the driver-level display strip

Hi,

Anyone managed to display the vehicle speed at the display strip (in red above)?
This display strip is at the driver's eye level, and I thought it would be useful to display the vehicle speed there (rather than the FM channel).
Anyone knows whether this can be done?
