Default Dash Panel Switch Removal

Glad to be a part of the forum here. I have a 07' Mazda 5 and would like to know if anyone could tell me how to remove the panel which houses 4 false switches that is on the lower dash right above your left knee if your sitting in the car. I would like to install an actual switch in place of the false one but do not want to break the panel trying to remove it. Thanks for any help you can give me.

Curious as to how you did it. I poked around last night and it looked like a real chore to get the panel off. The switch blanks pop out pretty easily however.

Are you planning on adding fog lamps? Rocket boosters?
