Just bought a 07 Mazda 5. Great car, however I am fairly tall and the brake pedal seems to stick too far up. Does anyone know if the brake pedal can be adjusted down to the level of the gas pedal?

 

I have exactly the same problem. I am an average tall person, but I still find the pedal very inconvenient and hard to press down. I actually bought my car back to the dealer but they told me it is designed like this and can't be modified. Does anyone know if this is something that can be adjusted? Thanks a lot.
