Blinking airbag light
Hi all!
I have a 2006 Mazda5 I purchased with 15k miles on it. It may have been in a front-end collision before I bought it. The airbag light on the dash has blinked randomly since I bought it. There is no pattern to the blinks. I have taken it to a dealer, the dealer says I have a broken sensor. The sensor is evidently part of the wiring harness, and the whole thing will need to be replaced at a cost of $2500 US. Is it possible he is wrong, or there may be a cheaper fix? I really don't want to spend that kind of money if I don't have to. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks |
recently have the same problem dealership said a sensor spring in the steering column $500
