Belt and hose change interval for USA?

What is the recommended accessory belt and coolant hose change interval for a USA-spec 2008? The owner's manual just says to inspect, but never gives a time to change. I searched the internet and did not find anything useful, either. I know belts and hoses last longer than they used to, but hey don't last forever!

"you can observe a lot just by watching" but it helps if you know what to look for. Hey that's meant to be humourous!

My rule of thumb is to change it when it squeaks and put on a Goodyear Gatorback: Gatorback® Poly-V Serpentine Belts | Goodyear® Engineered Products

I just changed my belts shortly before Christmas. The one belt was squealing like mad when wet and under heavy acceleration. Car (2008 )had around 120,000 km's (80,000 miles??) on it at the time.

They have to change BOTH belts too. Can't get one off without removing the other - and only way to remove the old is to cut it off. You need a special tool to get the new belt on as well.

Knocking on wood. I replaced the lumina hose's (all of them) last summer as the top radiator hose started leaking. The Mazda (02) is still original, thats on my list to do.
