My 2008 Mazda 5 seems to like to make sounds that are hidden. On right hand turns it seems like it makes a rubbing sound, not a steady sound but a cheep, cheep, cheep or chirp chirp chirp sound like sheet metal rubbing. any other time silence. Straight or left nothing but right it makes the sound. Wife seems to think it comes from the drivers front wheel and I think it comes from the passengers front wheel. I pulled the passengers side wheel just now and found nothing but started with that wheel because it has a super slow leak.

 

Hi, just got the wife a 5, this has the same problem.... I think there is a thin metal disc at the back of the brake-disc (lots of cars has this) its probably just that rubbing (tinny sound) it will just need bending (gently and only a little) away from the brake disc, going to sort mine out at weekend
