Default Wipers and turn signals not working

Hi All,

first would like to say that this site is amazing a am a newly mazda 3 owner and love it..

My problem i am having is..

I changed my cabin air filter and when i put everything back together my Turn signals and my wipers stopped working.

here is what i tryed so far:

- checked all fuses under the glove department all are good
- checked fuses in engine all are good
- took battary off for 5 minutes still same problem
- took off the wires/clamps that are on the fuse box under the glove department and re-put them back on to ensure they are connected right..

i am out of ideas... anyone had this same issue? any thoughts?

thanks again for the help...

You're on the right path with the passenger junction box (lots o connectors right beneath the glove box). But pay close attention to the contacts and make sure they aren't corroded. Some years have issues with moisture getting into them and causing faults. I think it's due to the AC line that's run just above the box leaking down the wiring.
I'm guessing the wiring had to be moved or bumped when you changed the air filter - it should be easy to track down.

Good luck. and why are you signed up on a mazda forum with chevycamaro anyway?

Generally speaking every time I've heard of an issue like this it's occurred right after someone unplugged the connectors on the PJB. I'd re-remove all of the connectors and reconnect them again making extra sure that each of them is fully seated. They can frequently look like they're in all the way but be just slightly disconnected and cause little electrical gremlins like this.
