Default Wheel Vibration

My front end has shook since 15k. I replaced the badyears at 19k, the tires still shook.
I took it to the dealer and they said the balancing was done wrong.
They rebalanced them, it worked for a couple of months, now the shake is back.
It's been about 3 tire rotations since the balance and the shake is getting worse.

Is this a balancing issue, or is there somthing else going on?
Also, bumper to bumper is up, if Mazda was aware of this before it was up and something else is wrong, will they/ should they take care of it?

Is it a speed sensitive Shake?
That is normally a Balancing Issue. Also as you wear out a set of tires they could need to be rebalanced, especially the way the 3 wears the inside of the rears.

My question is what brand did you replace them with, also when does the vibrations occur.

Vibration is right between 60-70mph.
At low speeds, around 25mph, there is a very annoying road noise, almost a grind, but normal with these tires so far.

I replaced them with the Sumitomo HTZ III, cheap and I love them, far upgrade from the RSA's.

yea sorry cant really give you an idea, its good info but someone would actually have to go on a test drive with you.

BTW sumitomo's are HORRIBLE, there right around the goodyears, good luck with getting more than 6k miles with them even with regular rotations *knocks on wood*

I've got 30k out of them right now, and they're only about 60-70% worn.
I love them.

Default same problem

I bought my '06 sedan and a week later I noticed the shake. I took it back and they said the balanced the tires. worked for a week then the shake came back. I took it apon myself to move the front tires to the back. great way to find out if it's the tires. Do you feel it in the steering wheel or in the seat? If it's the steering wheel it's front tires if it's seat it's back tires. Mine was steering wheel so I moved both front tires to back now its seat so I know it's in one of those 2 tires. Mine does it between 55 and 60 after that smooth as can be. I wonder if this car is really picky when it comes to tires. Any suggestion as to a good set of touring tires to put on the 3 anyone? Damn this car is fun to drive!
