Default Used Mazda 3

Hello there, I am total new to the forum!! Happy New Year :-)

I am considering buying a used Mazda 3, probably 2006-2009 model (any different between the years?) for under 10K. Does anyone know a good Mazda mechanics in the San Francisco/San Jose Bay Area? that I can bring a used car for inspection? Or if self-inspection is easy, what are the items that I need to pay attention to? Thanks so much for your suggestions and hopefully I can join the big family soon!

Hello there!

I'm also a newbie but I just bought a recently used mazda3.... I had a friend with me who used to know more about cars when I bought it, and what we did before we purchase the car is to look for scratches... you could ask if there's any modifications of changes in the engine... and lastly better take it to the test drive...

good luck!

*Nice try. Edited by the Staff for posting an unauthorized link.*

I know someone with a 2007 Toyota Camry has been into the shop for a Check engine light (the Exhaust) and now the Display is out on the Radio, car has less than 10,000 miles on it.
My Step Mom's 2007 Camry has the Radio Display out on it and my Step brothers 2008 Tundra has 2 different radio problems.
I could go on about the Honda's and Nissan's also, and for The MB, the quality of all but the higher end cars has gone down considerably, so Tanka, your point is
