Hi,
new to the Forum and already have an issue. I have a 09 Mazda 3 grand touring, i noticed that at the stop sign making a hard left or right turn if I give it a some good gas i get a thumping noise from the front driver side wheel compartment. i took it to the dealer and they said its normal, i am having a hard time accepting this conclusion. what do you think?

 

Could be a worn left side diff bushing. Excerssive wheel spin will cause wear on the diff bushing. This will cause the axle to be loose inthe diff and may even cause an oil leak.

Check for play of the axle in the transmission on the left side.
