If the plugs were wet, fuel could have gotten burning in the exhaust - potentially overheating the turbo, or melting the cat converter = plugged exhaust and poor performance. (this is the only applicable knowledge i've been able to get from the goss' garage segment on motorweek) But that sounds like a very real possibility.

The way I would describe it, is when I first drove it and hit the gas, I was pushed back in my seat, even at 3,000 rpm in 3rd gear. Now I'm hard pressed to get pushed back in my seat in 4th gear on the highway at 5,000 rpm. And I don't think getting used to the car would change how much I get pushed back in my seat.

Fourth gear at five-thousand RPMs? How fast were you going?

FWIW, third gear at three-thousand should provide noticeably more forward urge than five-thousand in forth.

The point isn't when you get maximum boost, the point is that I don't get thrown in my seat at all. I don't have a gauge to see what my boost is, so I'm just being hypothetical.

And as you say, "noticeably more forward surge", the car doesn't have that right now, there's no surge of power. It's just normal acceleration almost, very little boost adding in.

bad wastegate, poorly reinstalled oem parts (most likely previous owner had mods). number of things are a possibilty, only thing to do is get someone who knows about speed3's (not dealership) and have them give you a hand
