Default Speed 3

Sorry if this is a repeat question. Expecting to buy a Speed 3 next spring. I've read there are some issues with the shifter. The car mags complain of sloppiness, but I've read there are bushings that are a simple install and they improve shifter response. Can someone please fill me in on this as well as some other juicy tidbits I should know. From what I've read, I'll be lucky to get much off sticker. What have some of you paid?

Default RE: Speed 3

only way ull save money off the msrp is if u have connections wit hthe ppl ur buying it from or ur buying it used.. now as far as the shifter goes, i dont ahve much to compare it to since this is the second car car ive owned thats manual. but yes, there are aftermarket bushings available to fix the shifter. i feel theres nothing wrong with it since im used to it now, but im still planning on changing it.
