Default Shaved Badges

I got hit from behind by an uninsured driver the other day...good news is I have uninsured driver insurance. Since the body shop was already going to have to repair and fix the back hatch I paid a bit extra and they're going to shave off all the badges on the back. Can't wait to see how it turns out. I'll try and post some pictures when its complete.

I know if the emblem or badge is more like a metal badge or plastic badge that is actually sticking off the car when you look at it... to take that off, you use floss... yes dental floss... and just weave it behind the emblem and the paint of the car and move in a back and forth motion and it should get the badge off the glue from the car and pop it off... and yes i take and would take off ALL dealership info on the car.. its ugly!

Even the liscense plate frames!!

I was thinking of taking off either the "mazda" or the "3" emblem on the back trunk lid... dont know which one though,.[sm=gobble.gif]

Heck the "Mazda 3" and the huge "Mazda Emblem" had 5 holes all together. They had to spot weld, fill, sand and then repaint. Dental floss would have been so much cheaper

Well I wouldn't take the actual Mazda emblem off.. just the "Mazda" word emblem or the "3" emblem! But yeah, that badge is pretty huge! Post pictures when you get your car back and can see the results!!
