Samsung phone, Android Auto will not work
 

Hi, everyone:

I just joined last night. I bought my first Mazda, a 2017 Mazda 3 Grand Touring. I love it. However, for the first time ever, today, the car would not play songs from my Samsung Galaxy 9+. I have tried many times, shutting the car off,etc. It used to always search for and then connect to my phone.
When I go into Applications, I see that "Android Auto" is shaded out. I cannot use the dial to scroll down to it to check if that is the problem.
Any ideas

Try another android cable.

I found out that the "Bluetooth" setting on my PHONE was turned off. I swear that I did NOT do this!!!! But, I put it back on! Thanks!
