Default K & N Filter

Has anyone installed the replacement air filter for their car that fits into the stock air intake box? Just wondering how well it works and if you can tell a difference

got the filter from AutoZone today and dropped it in. Engine rumble is a little lower and the car is a little punchier and has a little more accel. not too bad since i had to replace the air filter anyways...

nice...now you never have to buy another air filter again. did you get the synthetic dry filter, or the filter you need to oil?

i got the one with oil, but it lasts for a good 50,000 miles before the first cleaning, so i think i will be good. i am planning on gettign a CAI this winter, just needed a new air filter so i figured why not.

you should look into the synthetic oiless filters once you finally get the cai. all you have to do is rinse it with water mixed with a cleaning solution everytime you change your oil...its really easy to do.
