Default Question about lowering my 3

Ive got a white 3 hatch, and I am going to lower it but I dont know which springs to get. I was lookin at the ones from speed 3 but im not too sure. Any suggestions? And I would probably need to get a camber kit too right?

Thanks

i did the Eibach pro-kit lowered it about 1.5 inches. i like it alot. i still need to get the camber kit. but without it i kind of like the wider stance of my rear tires.

Yea, I was looking at that one too. Without the camber kit does it do any damage?

i took it to goodyear for an alignment afterwards and they urged me to buy their camber kit/installation for 600bucks because if not, the rear tires are not within the acceptable range therefore resulting in a little bit of premature ware on the inner part of the wheel.
you can find camber kits for around 175-200 on ebay, but its just not number one on my list important things to do right now...just my opinion

I had Eibach Prokits on my 3i sedan. Without the camber links, I was right at the edge of OK (-2.1 degrees), but after I installed the links I was right back at design (-1 degree).

Speed3 springs are only 0.5 lower than a regular 3...I don't think you'd need the camber links with those.

Lowering and camber kits are required in doing so.
I've seen a lot of lowered 3s (up to 2 inches) and they look absolutely awesome.

One more question, Eibach Pro kit vs H&R Sport spring. Which one is better, thanks for the input

I loved by Prokits, almost stock in ride feel with about a 1" drop.

Eibach is a VERY reputable brand, known world-wide for suspension systems. (I've got some real high-end off-road shocks that also use Eibach coils $500/each for the shocks & with 5 years of serious off-road abuse have never had a problem..)

They're both very reputable brands, but have different ride qualities. The H&R's are said to ride a little stiffer than the Eibach's.
