wish i was there to help you install the cai... i love gutting the stock airbox and slapping in the more economic size aftermarket intake.... let us know how the install goes! bet that intake feels like its a present being opened on your birthday for ya! enjoy

hey bill: two pointers for the installation this weekend. 1. Make sure to leave slack for the wires connected to the MAF sensor so nothing goes wrong there...its a good amount of money to replace. 2. After the install, go over the whole intake and double check all the connections and tighten up the screws all of the way.

You're going to love the intake. enjoi!

it sounds great, definitley improves the sound of the exhaust also, once you reach like 5000rpm it sounds like a racecar

oh its not you bill...i feel the same way. i take the main plastic engine cover off when i auto-x, as it tends to trap in a lot of excess heat.

its mostly just cosmetics, except for that functional ramair to the battery housing...
