Power Steering Flush

Is doing a power steering flush on a 08 automatic 2.3 liter hard? Or is it an easy DIY? Anybody have directions on how to do it?

Why would you even bother?

Is it not necessary? Lol the dealership just told me I had to have it done.
Oh speaking of that, is the fuel injector flush necessary? My dealership has been asking me to do this for a while. But my brother in law never did this in his m3 and that had over 100k on it. So are either of these things necessary?

Power Steering system flushes and Fuel Injector services are exclusively necessary for padding the bottom line of the dealership service departments. No! Check that, they are also necessary as a weight reduction measure for your wallet/bank account. Tell your dealership to pound sand. :p

Thats what I was thinking. Sounds like a load of crap to me!

LOL!!!

Is it bad to laugh that people are still gullible enough to believe dealership bullcrap? Maybe I should be happy my dealership doesn't recommend all this crap to me.

Not bad at all!
I was thinking it was sketchy, thats why I posted it on the forums. And I've denied the Fuel Injector deal countless times. Theyre awefull percistent.

Lucky you have a good dealership!
I'm not a big fan of mine, but they do give me alot of discounts on normal maintenance.

which are probably not really discounts, and as for the injector flush thats only necessary if you suspect you have bad gas, and if thats the case then u need to drain the gas and run the injector cleaner, which you can do yourself
