My 05 Mazda 3 has a parasitic drain coming from the interior fuse box for fuse that says obd. I pulled the fuse and car starts fine and I don’t see any lights or any difference so I’m wondering would it be ok to leave this fuse out.. what does it do exactly and what does it even go to.

 

OBD is your diagnostic plug.

 

Where was the obd fuse location? My 2009 mazda 3 obd 2 port isn't letting the scanner read anything from it. I can't find where the fuse is for the obd2. Any help would be appreciated.

 

2005 BK is a different generation to your 2009 BL generation.
