Oil Overfill danger?!

I got my first oil change (4,500 miles) a month or so ago from the dealership. I just checked it last night (5,500 miles) and the oil seems to be a little high on the dip stick! The Manuel says the distance between the little holes represent 0.7(ish) quarts, then the oil is about 0.3 quarts over full. An oil change with new filter = 6 quarts, an oil change withOUT a filter change = 5.7 quarts... does this mean the dealership charged me for a new filter but didn't actually change my filter?! I bought Royal Purple oil so I could tell they actually did something and noticed that the oil is already a bit brown, not black but much darker then when the oil was new... and remember the oil started out purple!

I gave the dealership 6 quarts of oil, with a new filter there should not have been ANY overage!

Should I worry about oil froth, or higher oil pressure? Do I need to worry about the turbo?

What should I do?
1. Go back to the dealership and demand my money back for the whole service!
2. Go back to the dealership and demand my money back for the filter only.
3. Go back to the dealership and have them drain a little oil.
4. Drain a little oil myself.
5. forget about it until the next oil change and just change it myself to be sure.

???

With the 2.3 the manual says filter and all should only be 4.5 quarts I think, I may have to check up on my reading, but I think 6 is way to much.

It is a MS3 so it is 6 Quarts.
Reason 1 why I do all my own Maintains, so I myself would go with your #5. It would be hard to get the .3 quart of out out of it, but it could be done , just rather messy and you would need to have some oil to add back in because you will dump to much.
I do know on mine the oil reads higher on the wrong side of the Dipstick also.
