Unhappy Oil leak due to back pressure.

Hi chums,

first major issue. Had an oil leak on car and took it in. Diagnosis: Engine back pressure. Turns out the local garage can’t fix it (Mazda 3) and I need to take it to a main dealer/ engine specialist.

Big question is, besides the leak, is the car ok to drive for a bit? Also is this really just a case for a main dealer? Not that I don’t believe them, it’s just can this be fixed by other locals?

Anyhoo, cheers in advance.

Has it been looked at by Mazda? or just a local workshop?

What year is your car? Is it under warranty?

Do you know where it is leaking from?
