I took my madza 3 in for its first oil change today. It took an hour! When my husband takes his in, it may take 20 min! Then they told me that it required a certain type of oil, and rattled off some numbers, I had no idea what they were talking about and it was only $5 more than the typical oil change so I didn't really care. Just wondered if this is normal?

 

Shouldn't take that long...I do mine own, but if you have a 2.3L it could be that they couldn't locate the correct oil filter. Alot of times smaller places don't carry it because it is a cartridge.
