New 2018 Mazda 3! Front plate removal (and relocation)
Here to announce my new 2018 and ask for some front plate advice. Coming from a 2014 Audi S4 to something enjoyable but more practical and cheaper to own. Got a silver touring 6MT, pretty thrilled! The new 2019's look amazing but I was really looking to go used (wanted to make a few bucks in the transaction) and only went new because they are pricing them so low ($19,600 OTD).
Anyways, I hate the front plate. I'll probably run without it until I get a fix-it ticket (been driving 5 years now without a front plate), but also want to have a solution in-mind. I have seen some great kits for installing centered but lower, any recommendations?
Mainly though I wanted to ask for advice on removal. Seems my 2018 no longer has screws (good thing I suppose) and the dealer simply said she had her husband "break" hers off. I'd hate to break a brand new grill so I wanted to verify if there are any tips or tricks.
Anyways, looking forward to enjoying the car as-is for now, but I am sure I'll spend more time on here to learn about fun mods to get me closer to the S4 handling I am so used to.
Thanks!
